4. Cookies and Analytics

Texas Best Docs uses required cookies for sign-in, security, and profile unlock functionality. Optional analytics are off by default.

  • The analytics consent cookie is named TexasBestDocs.AnalyticsConsent and stores either accepted or declined.
  • Hotjar session analytics load only after analytics are accepted.
  • Profile unlock device cookies help recognize a browser after an email unlock, but account or email unlock limits are the primary quota source when available.
  • You can decline analytics and continue using doctor search.

5. Payments

When paid access is enabled, Stripe processes payment details. Texas Best Docs receives billing status, customer identifiers, subscription status, and related checkout events needed to provide access, but we do not store full card numbers.

6. Provider Profile Data

Provider profiles may include public directory data, public licensing or board-action information, administrator-reviewed data, and provider-submitted information. Published profile information may be visible to site visitors when it supports doctor search, profile review, groups, facilities, or verification pages.
